Another Irwin Corey Quote

Marriage is like a bank account. You put it in, you take it out, you lose interest.

Mistakes

John McCain was on the Daily Show tonight. The Hilary of the Republicans. What a sell out. He's as charismatic as ever, and I still like him despite all of his latest pathetic pandering to the untra-conservatives in his bid for 2008. He chose his words very carefully but was still funny and cool, and he still subtly expressed his old contempt and lack of respect for the Coyboy in Chief. Nevertheless, the war supporters still can't quite admit that Iraq is a disaster. Since its been so painfully evident how much worse it seems to be getting day by day, the language I've been hearing a lot of them say now is, "a lot of mistakes have been made in Iraq," but we still have to be strong and emerge victorious etc etc.

Cmon guys, "a lot of mistakes have been made?" That's all? Didn't we tell you before you went and did this, that, "its going to be a huge mistake to do this!?"

Its like jumping off the roof and breaking both of your legs and saying, "yeah well, a lot of mistakes were made..."

How appropriate to current events...

If we don't change direction soon, we'll end up where we're going.

New Format

Since I pretty much never write in my blog, I've decided to see if I can at least maintain some kind of a brief quote or thought or joke or something. I should be able to handle this level of responsibility.
